Germantown Junior Warhawks Golf Program:
A junior golf feeder program has been established for students residing within the Germantown School District.
Tryouts:
Registration for tryouts for the 2027 Germantown Junior Golf Team is now open.
Tryouts for the 2027 winter/spring season will be held at the Junior Cup Golf Indoor Facility in Waukesha on the following dates:
- Saturday September 19, 2025 from 9:00am-12:00pm
- Saturday September 26, 2025 from 1:00pm-4:00pm
Eligible athletes should attend only one scheduled tryout date of their choosing. Each tryout will last approx. ~20-30 minutes, Further instructions regarding tryouts will be sent to registered participants prior to the tryout dates. Be sure to register early to stay up to date on all the communications. See eligibility requirements below.
There is a nonrefundable $10 fee to tryout. Participants must register in advance. All skill levels are encouraged to try out.
Tryouts typically include full swings several different clubs as well as putting and chipping attempts on a practice green.
Juniors should bring golf clubs to use at tryouts.
Team Formation:
Following the tryout process, we expect to announce teams in early October after all Junior Cup Golf communities have completed tryouts. Depending on turnout at tryouts and coaching availability, there is no guarantee that each grade level will have a team.
Eligibility:
Boys and girls residing within the Germantown School District in 3rd through 8th grades are eligible to tryout.
Participants may attend private schools outside of the Germantown district, but to be eligible they must reside within the district.
