Pewaukee Junior Pirates Golf Information Page:
A junior golf feeder program is being considered for students residing within the Pewaukee School District.
2025 Tryouts:
Registration for tryouts for the 2025 Pewaukee Junior Pirates Golf Team is now closed. Tryouts occurred on Oct. 12th and Oct. 15th.
NOTE: Tryout location change: Due to weather impacting the Saturday date of tryouts, and to keep the location consistent for both tryout dates, tryouts will now be held indoors at the Junior Cup Golf training facility (W229N2494 County Rd F, Waukesha, WI 53186) on the following dates:
- Saturday October 12, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm
- Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 5:00pm-6:30pm Eligible athletes should attend only one scheduled tryout date of their choosing. Each tryout will last approx. ~20-30 minutes, Further instructions regarding tryouts will be sent to registered participants prior to the tryout dates. Be sure to register early to stay up to date on all the communications. See eligibility requirements below.
There is a nonrefundable $10 fee to tryout. Participants must register in advance. The tryout fee is collected to help cover costs associated with tryouts.
Tryouts typically include full swings on the driving range using several different clubs as well as putting and chipping attempts on a practice green. All skill levels are encouraged to try out.
Juniors should bring golf clubs to use at tryouts.
Team Formation:
Following the tryout process, we expect to announce teams within a week of the final tryout date. Depending on turnout at tryouts and coaching availability, there is no guarantee that each grade level will have a team.
Eligibility:
Boys and girls residing within the Pewaukee School District in 3rd through 8th grades are eligible to tryout. Participants may attend private schools outside of the Pewaukee district, but to be eligible they must reside within the district.
